Pelvic Congestion Syndrome

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) is a condition caused by damaged valves in the pelvic veins. This condition may go undiagnosed as some symptoms such as chronic pain during a menstrual cycle, intercourse, or physical activities can be attributed to something unrelated. It is fairly common for PCS symptoms to start during pregnancy and ultimately continue long after birth. In reality, these commonly misdiagnosed symptoms may be caused by damaged veins.
